Material
The bowl is made of fine bone china porcelain that contains almost 50% bone ash. The Arabesque embossed decal is made of 12% pure gold.

How it was made
The bowl is burned four times at about 1250 c in order to apply the embossed gold decal and to achieve the glossy ivory look.
